You have recently been transferred by your company to manage its operations in Mexico. The assignment is expected to last at least three years. The company is providing you a large, unfurnished house near your new offices. Your furniture, car, and personal effects are being shipped to you but have been held up by Mexican customs officials. You reach out to the Mexican customs office and are told that the delay has to do with an error in the paperwork and nothing can be done until the proper forms are submitted. They also inform you that you must personally appear at the border with the correct forms in order to release the shipment. The border is 1,000 miles from your current location. The custom’s official you are talking with, however, suggests that he might be able to expedite the shipment and have the forms corrected for you if you send a wire transfer of $1,500 dollars directly to his personal bank account. How do you proceed and why? (500-700 words)
Expected Proceed:
The very first step would be to complain about the custom official who was asking for a bribe to the higher authority. It is clear that it is not always necessary for a person to fill in the documents appearing physically at the customs office only and also there are No laws stating the personal appearance of a person every time.
The one thing to understand here is that the furniture and other personal stuff is provided by company only. So, it becomes the responsibility of company to deal with these situations and not the employee. A company shall ensure that all the basic stuff is been provided to the employee doorstep. As the employee is completely new with the country and its laws, it does not make sense that employee will face the customs.
An employee can ask the customs to finalise the document and forms executions in single time . As it wont be possible for him to come every time they call him.

Assume you have just been transferred by your company to a new facility in a foreign location. Which of your own personal dimensions do you think will be most effective in helping you deal with this new situation? Based on your upbringing (area of the country, rural/urban, ethnic or religious background, etc) what cultural challenges will you have to overcome to adapt and be successful in your new environment? Does your answer depend on which country you are sent to?

Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...
