b- The federal Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement is developing new regulations for offshore oil and gas operations in the Arctic, and these regulations are expected to be ready for review later this year.

7- a- Samples from the survey are subject to sampling and nonsampling errors.

(Because "Samples" is subject and it is plural.

b- The typical question received at our call centers is not answered in any of the user guides.

("Typical question" is singular therefore "is" is used.)

8- A researcher who has submitted all the IRB forms is still required to submit his proposal to the Research Committee.

(A researcher is singular therefore instead of "their", "his" should be used.)

12- a- The number of students enrolled in our training sessions is decreasing.

b- Using in-store demonstrations caused business to increase.
