Appeal to pity is wherein people persuade by invoking sympathy. Appeal to force, is when threatening words are used to make people agree to us. Straw man argument is when people exaggerate or misrepresent opponents points, to mislead. Though these are separate forms of arguments, they are considered as fallacies. Fallacies refers to the use of illogical reasoning during arguments.
