Ans- Vanila ice cream is a homogenous mixture.

Explanation-

A Mixture is something where more than one components are mixed with different proportions.

Now mixtures are of two types

  1. Homogenous mixture : Where all the components are so well mixed that the smallest portion of the mixture contains all the components in the same portion as that of the total mixture. Generally you will find these mixture in one physical state. i.e solid or liquid or gas
  2. Heterogenous mixture : In these mixture, the components are not well mixed. i.e you can find different physical state of matter line solid in liquid. Or two liquids forming two different layers etc.

Now in Vanila ice cream, the liquid vanila essence is well mixed with ice cream and you will find the essence of vanila through out the ice cream. So it is a Homogenous mixture.
