Total Hardness is equal to the sum of the concentrations of Calcium and magnesium in mg/L.

Total Hardness =200 mg/L

concentration of calcium = 150 mg/ L

Let concentration of magneisum = x mg/L

Therefore, 200 mg/L = 150 mg/L + x mg/L

   x = 200 - 150

   x = 50 mg/L
