Can I fabricate rigid fluid lines as part of preventive maintenance on aircraft? Tell me four things I need to consider during the installation of a flex line? Can a non-A&P install a hydraulic system flex or rigid line?

Preventive maintenance - Regular/Periodic maintenance performed on equipments/machineries in order to reduce risk of failing / derailment of operations , thus ensuring  productivity and efficiency . In preventive maintenance , we can fabricate rigid fluid lines as precaution , because in rigid fluid lines , due to shape of aircraft it is obvious that rigid lines would have many joints leading to leakages and many other issues . Leakages would directly relate with Loss and reducing efficiency . Thus , we can fabricate rigid fluid line as part of preventive maintenance .

During Flexible pipes installation , we might need to consider these points 1. Less amount of Skill required for Pipe system installation 2. Leakage issues , flex pipeswill around reduce 80% of leakages problems 3. Due to complex shapes of body , Flexibilty of flexpipes plays an imp role in transmitting medium. 4. Can handle high pressure ,high temperature medium due to medium of which flex pipe is made .

An A&P technician can inspects/supervises aircrafts and conducts/ performs preventive maintenance . Thus a non A&P technician will obviously install rigid line and not the flex line .
