Answer #1

The blood group B have anti- A antibodies. The blood group B don't have anti - B antibodies. Because the red blood cells have B antigen on their membrane. If there is found anti- B antibodies in B blood group, then there is found intercation between B antigen and anti- B antibodies. This leads to clumping of the red blood cells. That's why there is not found anti-B antibodies so that clumping is avoided.

The blood type O have anti-A and anti- B antibodies. The red blood cells of such person don't have any antigen. That's why there is not found any interaction between RBC and antibodies. And there is not found any clumping reaction.

* Clumping reaction leads to destruction of RBC.

Human blood types A, B and O are associated with the carbohydrate antigens A, B and H respectively. A and B antigens are caused by an alteration of H antigen. Normally everyone can synthesize H antigen (a cell surface carbohydrate found on red blood cells and other cell types). Some people make A and/or B transferase(s) which converts the H antigen to an A and/or B antigen respectively. The H antigen is produced by a specific fucosyltransferase encoded by the...
