Answer #1

Job satisfaction is a kind of understanding and feeling of satisfaction one receives from his or her work. Workers achieve job satisfaction only because his or her needs from the job is being fulfilled.

Job satisfaction is very subjective and can depend upon person to person, for some individual a job can be satisfactory but the same job is not satisfactory for the other person. There are various factors which defy job satisfaction like Salary, place of work, job timing, leave policy, reporting manager, etc

So there are various models which describe the job satisfaction properly. Given here are two

1. Affect theory

2. Dispositional approach.

Defining one: This theory measures work satisfaction by analyzing the gap between what a person on the job is seeking from the job and what he is actually receiving from the job. The level of difference here can define job satisfaction for him
