Using Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Systems Theory slides, create two Maps of your life. Be sure you provide specific details.

The first map is when you were a child of 6 or 8 yrs.

The second map is of your life as it is today.

You can create your maps in PPT or draw and take a photo. If you choose to draw and take a photo, be sure I can read the image and the words in each system.

For each of the maps, you will identify and list the pertinent details of each time period according to the descriptions in the PPT.

The above two images represent the Ecological systems encountered by the writer as a child and an adult respectively. The image is self-explanatory.

According to Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Systems Theory, there are four systems:

1. Microsystem - which is the immediate environment the subject is situated

2. Mesosystem - where the microsystems interact with each other

3. Exosystem - which indirectly affects the subject in the picture

4. Macrosystem - the larger context where everything is situated

Each individual is a product of these four systems and hence based on the differences in the systems, each person varies
