Effects that different factors have on the functioning of endocrine and nervous system- Before discussing about this, let us brief about both the systems.

• The endocrine system is the body system that regulates cells and organs by using chemical impulses called "Hormones" whereas the nervous system is the body system that uses electrical impulses to collect,process and respond to the signals given.
• The endocrine system is mainly dependant on "Hormones" whereas the nervous system is dependant on nuerons.
• The endocrine system is related to the nervous system by effect of hypothalamus on pituatary gland.The pituatary gland is the master and controls all the other glands.
• Some of the factors that effect the functioning of endocrine glands are-

1. Age - It is seen sometimes in middle age,the pituatary gland releases too much of growth hormonecausing acromegaly.
2. Any infection or disease may effect secretion of hormones.
3. Injury to an endocrine gland.
4. Sometimes there may be a tumor in the endocrine gland which may effect the hormonal secretion.
5. Bad diet and stress may also effect the endocrine system.

• Some of the factors that effect the functioning of nervous system are -

1. Balanced diet - If anyone is not taking a balanced diet they may have deficiency of Vitamins which will effect the normal functioning.
2. Injury causing nerve damage/ Injury to spinal cord or head.
3. Muscle fatique
4. Disease/medication.
5. Stress,depression or anxiety(Acute stage may not effect)
6. Vascular disorders
