The organization I work for has a learning environment. I would characterize the organization as diverse, highly creative and open for new learning. The workforce is diverse in nature. There are people from different countries having different beliefs, cultures, and values to teach others. People are highly creative and are always open to learning new things. There are incubating centers where people go and communicate with others. The conversation ranges from work to lifestyle to technology to planet. There is a room where people are taught foreign languages, at different times, as the company has foreign clients and employees are provided the opportunity to deal with them in their languages. Also, employees are always encouraged to provide ideas and suggestions to the management that are further discussed in the monthly meetings and are implemented in case ideas are good and sustainable. Therefore, yes, the organization follows the ideas of John Kotter.
