The factors that make adolescents more prone to suicide includes peer pressure, broken families, bullying, depression, inability to cope up with stress, lack of family support, poor performance in academics, constant crippling of self esteem by discouraging, faulty parenting styles and so on. Mood changes makes a person more vulnerable to suicide in such a way that a person would feel extreme emotions and loss of mood stability. This will affect the cognitive and emotional factors and hinder the ability to think logically and responsibly that bring into suicidal behavior.
