Two pieces of paper are hanging down with a couple of inches between them. If you blow down between the papers, the air between them is at a higher velocity and the pressure is lower than the pressure of air around them and therefore they are pushed together or towards each other. This is an application of the
Bernoulli effect.
Bernoulli equation
P1 + 1/2 pho v1^2 = P2 + 1/2 pho v2^2
