Your final exam is next week; you will have a four-day window to take your exam. (While the unit is open the full week, you can only take your exam Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.)

1. What strategies will you use to prepare for your final exam?
   
2. Do you have, or have you ever had test-taking anxiety? What strategies will you use to manage test anxiety?

Exam is definitely a stressful event as it would eventually lead to some results that would affect the person either positively or negatively. Thus, it becomes very important that one prepares well beforehand in order to produce a better result and avoid any future anxiety. So, firstly, I would ensure that I take enough notes by reading the relevant materials. Thus, it would become more convenient to go through the notes before the exam day and write well. Secondly, I would schedule my time in a manner that I would spend more time with the difficult part of the material and would also spend some time to refresh the easy parts. Thirdly, I would get adequate sleep because getting enough sleep would give good rest to the brain and body thus would create an equilibrium.

I have had test taking anxiety every time when I prepared for the exams. This has led me become more anxious and used to make me dull and confused. One of the most important strategies that I used to overcome my anxiety was avoid going out during the exam week because going out with friends and spending more time outside forced me with little time to prepare for the exam. Secondly, I also sat with friends who were serious about the exams and they used to help me stay connected with the preparation. They also helped me with the difficult parts in the materials, thus made me feel comfortable. These strategies helped me not only come out of anxiety but also prepare well for the exam.
