Elements of successful infection prevention committee :-

The elements which are used for patients' as well as employees' safety are :-

a) Planning :-

The controlling of infection needs effective planning which can improve the patients' safety. The preliminary way of planning includes identifying the main areas of concern as well as recommending the most appropriate method to control the infection. The planning also includes the selection of resources which are needed for the prevention process.

b) Monitoring :-

The committee monitors the prevention process of infection within the healthcare system. The committees are more likely to track those incidents which may create infections in future. By taking the data from the statistics, the committee members tries to minimize the risks by identifying the source of issue occurrences. They also take necessary actions to prevent those issues.

c) Evaluating and educating :-

After finding the sources of problems, the committee tries to evaluate and improve the process in various ways. By reguarly reviewing and controlling the process, the healthcare facility may achieve success. Lastly, it is important for the committee to educate the healthcare staffs regarding controlling of the infection.
