A variable name is good if it is easily understandable.

For this case it can Num_Of_Credits_2k17

A Bad variable name will be like a,b,c etc which is not showing meaning to the stored value.

Another good variable name may be Num_Of_Credits@2k17. But this is illegal because we cannot use special character in variable name like !, @, #, $ etc.

Rule for legal variable:-

1.Variable names must start with letter or underscore. E.g. _tax, tax_

2.Except first rule,variable name may be letters, numbers and combination of both.

3.Variable names are case sensitive.
