IRS Nationwide Tax Forum is a conference held every year by the Internal Revenue Service for the benefit of Tax Practitioners. Currently, you and Mary Clark are working on a group project. Tom Morgan, your departmental supervisor has appointed your group to participate in the 2018 IRS Nationwide Tax Forum to be held at National Harbor, Maryland. Your job is to come up with a package and give presentations on the package. Budget is tight. Your boss told you to use the limited resources in the department to achieve your goal. Mary Clark is nervous about speaking in front of a large audience during presentation.

1. Consider the four dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Which of those dimensions would you respond to most favorably with regards to Tom Morgan and Mary Clark and why? Please discuss in detail.

1-Tom Morgan is the department supervisor who want me and Mary to participate in Tax forum so Tom has Idealized Influence because as leader he wants to make Me and Mary like him and take risks , become creative and remain confident while presenting ourself in forum. He is inspiring Mary as leader that she should not be afraid and overcome her fear and lack of confidence.

Mary should focus on Individualized Consideration of group members as she is working with me as a team so she should put her fear and shyness aside and take efforts to meet the needs of whole team and present ideas and views at conference with more confidence.Tom has recognized that Mary has the potential that is why she chose her.

2-The dark side to transformational leadership i think that leaders sometimes stretch the limits of its followers to that extent in order to grow and develop them that followers tend to do over or become more worse when they are expected to do something which they had never done or bad at. But they have to do for their leaders.
