Here,

for the initial speed, u = 95 km/hr

u = 26.4 m/s

acceeleration = - 5 m/s^2

Now, for the total distance needed to stop

stopping distance = u^2/(2 * a) + u * t

stopping distance = 26.4^2/(2 * 10) + 26.4 * 1

stopping distance = 61.24 m

the stopping distance is 61.24 m
