Suicide is the act of taking one's own life intentionally or voluntarily. Every year more than 800,000 people commit suicide worldwide, which can be due to depression, anxiety, financial or relationship issues. Suicide destroys the life of the individual committing the act and the person associated with the individual. Suicide shows that something is wrong with our society which drives a person on edge to commit such an act. People with suicidal tendencies believe they do not have anything to live for and dying seems like a easy way out. Suicide is a public health priority and should be ignored but discussed thoroughly and measures should be taken to save the victims of suicidal tendencies.
