First, you have to add cards in the listview, as shown below

List<card> cards = new ArrayList<card>;

cards.add(card1);

cards.add(card2);

//...

A select random number from the range of 52 cards.

here your data, do what you want

Item randomItem = cards.get(Collections.shuffle(cards));
nameTextView.setText(cards.getName(randomItem));
