Answer:

The hiring of an employee is now not a task like before, but to recruit a correct person for the job is important otherwise the whole hiring process will be waste. There are so many ways to recruit right candidate, many medium are used, a proper steps are followed to recruit and select the candidate.

The company is hiring a new worker, a proper recruitment process will be followed till his final selection. The recruitment is a process of finding a interested candidate by different sources. The method which will be used to approach are-

  • Direct Method- This method is direct selection from educational and training institutes.
  • Job adverts
  • Video Interview
  • Texting
  • Social Media
  • Programmatic Advertisement
  • Company career Page
  • Placement Agency
  • Indirect method includes transfer, promotion, retirement

The more relevant source or method will make a correct candidate hiring and this will give a better chance of having good employee strength. The direct methods, texting from database and company career page will be in choosen for recruiting the worker. The reason for these methods are they are common and reachable to the candidates, not all sources will reach but if only one will reach the purpose will be solved.

The selection is a process after recruitment, interested candidates are chosen and now from them a correct and eligible candidate is selected. There are few methods which is followed in selection process-

  1. Preliminary Interview
  2. Receiving of an application
  3. Screening of applications
  4. Employment Test
  5. Department Interview
  6. Reference checking
  7. Medical Test
  8. Final selection.

These steps are important because every process includes a purpose for next step, selection from the interested candidate to the screening of application is just a process of selection through application, after that employment test includes aptitude and psychological test that shows attitude and power of his situational decision. Then department interview is conducted by department seniors according to the job analysis where his work experience and knowledge is judged by the interview panel. Reference checking is done to know his past experience and verifying his behavior in last company. Medical test is done to test whether he fit for the working environment as the company can need sun exposure, hard physical work, night shifts, etc then after discussing salary a final selection can be done.

As the final these methods will be followed as to be perfect in work the process can be long but will be effective and efficient. In short process an undeserving candidate can be chosen and then the whole process and time will be wasted. A eligible and talented workforce are strength of any company to be in race of growth and progress.
