MIS author and consultant Peter Keen says: “We have learned that it is not technology that creates a competitive edge, but the management process that exploits technology.” What does he mean? Do you agree or disagree? Why? [2 Marks]
PLEASE DO NOT WRITE THE ANSWER - USE WORD FORMAT
Yes, definately i do agree with the perspection of the PETER KEEN the MIS author and consultant..
His perpection is based on the management which is most important than that of the technology, which means that a proper management is mostly required it does not matter that how good technology is being used if the management is bad technology will fail to do proper work as required. If the management is well planed and run in proper way then technology become more useful and effecient . Loss of management or mismanagement will always leads to failure instead of how good technology is. Always a better management can plan and decide that how to better utilize the technology for better performance which helps to achieve the goal easily. Use of technolgy can only enhance the quality of goods and services for better impact there is always need of better management which makes a big impact on products and its services.
