Answer #1

Trading emissions has liitle correlation woth environment and competitiveness as this is more concerned with ways of doing business and business models.

Climatic change can only be stopped through sustainable production and ethical environmental audit at businesses.

US is definitely destined to become less competitive if it doesn't comply to ethical framework and CsR policies as well as sustainability as major countries have moved to greener and leaner technologies with high investment into environmental management which yields greater results in long run like effectiveness and efficiency.
