Here are my two replies for the given topic - Protestant Reformation or Reformation (usually called)

(1) The Protestant Reformation was the theological, economic, philosophical and social tumult of the XVI century, which divided Catholic Europe into systems and values, which in the modern era will characterize the continent. Reformers, such as Martin Luther, John Calvin and Heinrich VIII, in Northern and Central Europe opposed the papal authority and disputed the right of the Catholic Church to establish Religious doctrine. They promoted a religious and political division of authority between the positions of Scripture writers and kings.
