           Most children learn to read by 6 or 7 years of age. Some children learn at 4 or 5 years of age. Even if a child has a head start, she/he may not stay ahead once school starts. The other students most likely will catch up during the second or third grade.

1. Freud's Psycho sexual Development Theory

Psychoanalytic theory originated with the work of Sigmund Freud. Through his clinical work with patients suffering from mental illness, Freud came to believe that childhood experiences and unconscious desires influenced behavior. According to Freud, conflicts that occur during each of these stages can have a lifelong influence on personality and behavior.

Freud proposed one of the best known grand theories of child development. According to Fraud,s psycho sexual theory, stages focused on different pleasure areas encounters conflicts that play a significant role in the course of development.
