Define and discuss the difference between micronutrients and macronutrients. Also, discuss their importance in the body at rest and during exercise.
There are two types of proteins they are;
* Macronutrients
*Micronutrients ,
These both nutritients are getting to the body by Intaking it, Because our human body will not create or made those nutrients in the body automatically, It has to be provided by something else like intaking foods and etc...
Macro - large , Micro- small
MACRONUTRIENTS:
Our body need large amount of energy to get growth and
development in the human body and to take care of the metabolism of
the human , These energies are getting from the
macronutrients.
This macronutrients are seen in the protein,carbon dioxide and
fats. These will be found in foods like fish, meat, rice ,egg ,
oil, etc. It is also known as major elements
so to maintain the metabolic system of our human body ,we need to consume large amount of macronutrients to our body. If we are lack in that , we will be having some poor development and growth.
MICRONUTRIENTS:
Our body get small amount of the energy from the micronutrients, Vitamins and minerals are consists as the micronutrients, These micronutrients are getting from the vegetables and the fruits.
This will helps our body to protect from other external enemies like bacteria and virus etc. And also prevent the diseases. So if we are lacking in vitamins and minerals, it leads to some vitamin deficiency diseases. And micronutrients is also known as trace elements .
Our body is in rest and during exercise:
Macronutrients provides greater amount of nutrients, which in the form of proteins , carbs and fats. This will helps our body in muscles and bone development,while our body is in rest this will take care of the metabolism of the body. And maintaining the functions of the body and every other works.
when we are doing exercise micronutrients like vitamins and minerals stimulates the macronutrients like carbs,protein to convert as energy and helps while doing exercise.
