What conclusion can you draw about the relationship between height and grip strength?
We know the grip strength is made possible by the contraction of muscles. We know our palm too has muscles like other body part. We need these muscles to push, lift, pull and do other activities. In our palm we have flexor digitorum superficialis, flexor digitorum profundus, flexor policus Longus muscles. These three muscles give us grip in our hand. Iin increase in height of the person the length of these muscles also increase in that person comparing to others. So that the person can hold to a particular item much prominently. Even if the items diameter is big the length of these muscles help him to hold to it. So with his long palm and long muscles he can hold to that particular item with his maximum strength. These muscles can now undergo maximal contraction and provide a great grip. This is how grip strength increases with height.
