Cybersecurity is incredibly much in demand for large companies. Even now, where people feel that their data is safe. But, Nowadays also, companies are attacked daily. there's a rise in hackers who try and destroy the corporate.
The simple definition is: Cyber Security is that the technology and process that's designed to shield networks and devices from attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
Most critical to implement at any company to provide overall security
Mapping the business architecture of the organization and setup
security goals and responsibilities of varied
teams (It and business) in achieving them.
Create a security infrastructure and security team and define their
responsibilities accordingly.
Create a listing of the quantity
of IT assets the organization has for classification and
accountability just in case any of them get
compromised.
Emphasize of physical security so unknown
individuals cannot access the IT assets by having security guards
and fences.
Classify the access and identity access within the
environment and limit the user’s access supported
the role.
have a typical procedure on how vulnerabilities
are addressed and remediated with patches in a
very given period of your time.
Have an efficient business continuity plan
in situ that may counter any
reasonably disruption to the operations from a
cyber attack or a natural calamity.
Cyber Security is a plan to
1. Identify gaps in security,
2. Protect your assets.
3. Detect latest security issues for zeroday.
4. Respond to latest incidents like ransomware, malware, ddos and more.
5. Recover from disaster or business continuity plan.
