Hi,

No doubt that Energy crisis is one of the major problem human beings are facing in this world now.

Major energy source human beings are consuming still now is from nonrenewable natural sources like coal, natural gas, petroleum, etc. produced from fossil fuels. We have renewable sources of energy like solar energy, tidal and wind energy, nuclear energy, etc but they are still less available compared to the major sources.

Since the nonrenewable energy sources are reducing year by year there arises shortage of energy called energy crisis.

Global energy demands increase because our world is developing. Infrastructure, automobiles, science and technology, food processing and almost all industries demand a huge amount of energy. Human population is rapidly increasing which is one of the main reason for high energy requirement.

Now chemists around the world is involved in research for getting energy sources from readily available substances like water. Water splitting to form hydrogen, Carbondioxide reduction to methanol, nanotechnology and high efficient solar cells are the hope for future.

Best Wishes.
