list 5 perceptions of the biggest threat to Universities which could be huge problems in the next 2-10 years. PLEASE note: (again a threat is something that is not a weakness right now, but could be later on.

5 perceptions of threats to universities.

  1. Technology: many universities evaluate the exam papers in computers by digitalization. As the technology improves day by day, the hackers can make use of technology to hack the university servers in future.
  2. Smart phone/wireless Bluetooth microphones: This technology might help the students in exam hall using the smart phones and wireless Bluetooth headsets for copying, which is difficult to identify in the exam hall. This in turn leads to bad name for the universities.
  3. Corruptions: students of this era are more corrupted than the old people. It is difficult to find loyal students in the universities. Students/university management might be corrupted by involving in mass copy and exam paper leak with help of technology. Sending the copies of exam papers etc. if someone offers money. Which is a conveys bad name for universities.
  4. Professor teaching: The quality of the education is declining due to involvement of all the above activities such as corruption. It is difficult to find good knowledgeable qualified professor. Less knowledgeable professor might fail to understand the students in teaching. Due to technology advancements all the teaching sessions by the professor might be uploaded in the university portals, which is not effective than the real class teaching. Students cannot rise a doubts while giving lecture in videos. so it might be threats to universities in future.
  5. Less participation in the university sports: As explained in above points the technology advancement also leads to decreased participation of students in sports or cultural activities. Real sports activities will give good physical and mental health. Hence in future the students involved in sports might reduce drastically, which leads to university cannot take part any events against other universities.
