Answer #1

Answer :-

As given, moles of barium (Ba) = 0.300 mol

moles of chlorine (Cl) = 0.600 mol

So, mole ratio of Ba:Cl = 0.300/0.6000

= 1: 2

So empirical formula of the compound = BaCl2
