Write a program in C that creates an array of 100 random numbers from 0-99. The program sums the random numbers and prints the sum. It then writes the numbers to a new file using open, close and write. Then looks in the current directory for files that match the pattern “numbers.XXXX”. For each file, open the file and read the file. You can assume that the file will contain 100 integers. Sum the integers. Print the filename and the sum of the integers.
Other requirements:
Hints:
Remember to initialize any sum variable to 0
rand() will return a random number too big for 0-99. Use modulo to reduce the range.
Code :
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
int main()
{
int lowerlimit=0;
int upperlimit=99;
int count=100;
int sum=0;
int a[100];
for(int i=0;i<count;i++)
{ //creating random numbers and entering in array.
int temp = (rand()%(upperlimit-lowerlimit+1))+lowerlimit;
a[i]=temp;
}
printf("Random numbers are : \n");
for(int i=0;i<count;i++)
{ //printing random numbers.
printf("%d ",a[i]);
}
for(int i=0;i<count;i++)
{
sum+=a[i]; //calculating the sum of random numbers.
}
printf("\nSum of random numbers is : ");
printf("%d ",sum);
FILE *file; //as the sum of random numbers is 5184 so file name is
numbers5184.
file=fopen("numbers5184.txt","w"); //creating the file.
for(int i=0;i<count;i++)
{
putw(a[i], file); //entering random numbers in file.
}
fclose(file);
file=fopen("numbers5184.txt","r")
int num;
while ((num = getw(fptr))!=EOF)
{
printf("%d\n",num); //printing numbers from file.
}
fclose(file);
return 0;
}

Write a program that performs the following operations on a one dimensional array with 50 unsigned integers. The main program will initialize the array, print the array values to the screen and then call a function that will determine and print the maximum and minimum values. •Declare the array and any other variables. •Use a loop to initialize the array with 50 random integer values between 0 and 99 using the rand() function. (number = rand() % 100;) •Using cout...
Create a program that creates an array of 500 random numbers between -10 and 10. Write several functions: Function 1 - prints the array with a certain number of elements per line. Prototype: void printArray(int array[], int numElements, int numPerLine, ostream &os) Function 2 prints only the array elements that are evenly divisible by an input number. Prototype: void printDivBy(int array[], int numElements, int numPerLine, int divBy, ostream &os) Function 3 takes the input array and returns the maximum, the...
Write a program in c++ that generates a 100 random numbers between 1 and 1000 and writes them to a data file called "randNum.dat". Then re-open the file, read the 100 numbers, print them to the screen, and find and print the minimum and maximum values. Specifications: If your output or input file fails to open correctly, print an error message that either states: Output file failed to open Input file failed to open depending on whether the output or...
C++ programming please Write a program that will display random numbers in order from low to high. 1. Declare an integer array of size 100. Ask the user how many numbers to work with (n). It can be less than 100. 2. Generate random numbers from 10 to 50. 3. Write the random numbers to an output file named random.dat. Close the file. 4. Open random.dat for input and read the data values into your array. Pass your array to...
Write a Java program in Eclipse. . Write a Java program that: 1. Creates an array of 100 integers. Initialize the array to have all zeros. 2. Puts even numbers starting from 6 (excluding multiples of 12) into the first 50 slots of the array above. So numbers 6,8,10,14,16,18,20,22,26, etc. go into the first 50 positions in the array. Print the array. 3. Puts random numbers between 45 and 55 into the second 50 slots of the array above (second...
Please write in java program Write an application that generates 100 random integers between 1 and 75 and writes them to a file named "file_activity.txt". Read the data back from the file and display the following: The sum of the numbers in the file The average of the numbers in the file The numbers in the file in increasing order To sort an array: int[] arr = new int[20]; Arrays.sort(arr); -- this sorts an array To sort an ArrayList: ArrayList<Integer>...
C++ Write a program that generates and prints 24 random values using an array and the rand () function. Implement an algorithm to find the maximum and a minimum number of random numbers generated. Write a program **(IN C)** that displays all the phone numbers in a file that match the area code that the user is searching for. The program prompts the user to enter the phone number and the name of a file. The program writes the matching phone numbers to the output file.
