(a). Azeotropic Distillation is used to separate mixture of 2-butanone and t-butyl alcohol because boiling point differences between the two liquids is very low.

Boiling point of 2-butanone = 79.64 0C

Boiling point of t-butyl alcohol = 82.2 0C

Therefore, Azeotropic Distillation is used.

(b). Vacuum Distlillation is used for diethylene glycol, because diethylene glycol is an antifreeze substance and to separate water from it vacuum distillation is used.

Boiling point of diethylene glycol = 245 0C

(c). Extractive Distillation is used in the presence of a miscible, high-boiling, relatively non-volatile component.

Boiling point of diethyl ether = 34.6 0C

Boiling point of chlorobenzene = 131 0C

Therefore, Extractive Distillation is used for this.
