Write a C++ Program. you were required to first create a function called average. The return type is double and it takes in two parameters, one of type string the other of type double. In the average function write a for loop that PROMPT THE USER to enter in a grade 5 times, keep a sum of all the different grades then return the average of the grades. (sum / 5) Next write a function of type double called lowest with one parameter also of type double. The function should PROMPT THE USER to enter in 5 grades using a for loop similar to the average function, then return the lowest grade. Lastly, write a function called highest that prompt the user to enter in 5 grades and return the highest grade.

The answer to this question is as follows:

The code is as follows:

#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
double average(double sum)
{
return (sum)/5;
}

double lowest(double grades[])
{
double min=grades[0];
for(int i=1;i<5;i++)
{

if(min>grades[i])
{
min=grades[i];
}

}

return min;
}
double highest(double grades[])
{
double max=0.0;
for(int i=0;i<5;i++)
{
if(max<grades[i])
{
max=grades[i];
}
}

return max;

}

int main() {
double grades[5];
double sum=0.0;
for(int i=0;i<5;i++)
{
cin>>grades[i];
sum=sum+grades[i];
}
cout<<"The grades are:"<<endl;
for(int i=0;i<5;i++)
{
cout<<grades[i]<<" ";
}
cout<<"\nThe average of the grades is:"<<average(sum);
cout<<"\nThe lowest among the grades is:"<<lowest(grades);
cout<<"\nThe highest among the grades is:"<<highest(grades);
}

The input and output are provided in the screenshot below:
