What is the process involving (DHCP server, DNS server, IP address, packet, TCP port, web server). That when I click on a Website home page and it appears on computer screen
Dhcp in the sense dynamic host control protocol is used for generate internet protocol IP's dynamically.every system or host have static IP and dynamic Ip static IP is constant and unique dynamic IP is provide by Internet service provider.while you are searching something on the browser Internet service provider generate dynamic IP using dhcp.actually IP's are either 32 bit ipv4 or ipv6 128bit .so we search on the browser in example.com something but the server have IP address but not the domain name so the DNS is convert the domain name into IP address so we have destination IP address with help of DNS whole date not transfer at a time so the date divide into small small packet.each packet contain source address and destination address of host and data also included.the packets are transfer source to destination with help of TCP transport control protocol.finally it reached to server.the server sent response.

Suppose within your Web browser you click on a link to obtain a Web page. The content of the web page is not cached in the local caching server, and the IP address for the associated URL is not cached in your local host either, so that a DNS look-up is necessary to obtain the IP address. Suppose that n DNS servers need to be visited before your host receives the IP address from DNS, and each of successive visits...
