To implement a new HR metric, common challenge would be too many metrics. If the metrics developed by leadership are too many, it becomes overwhelmed with tracking and the overall interpretation for each. To figure out which metrics will help the most and which metric will support HR’s contribution to impact the organization will be the best solution. Here is an example-

This metrics is helpful to measure the percentage in the workforce productivity. Formula is people cost divided by revenue, then compare with prior years, and the value of dollar of change. When leadership starts gauging the workforce productivity, they can measure if Human Resource’s initiatives have been successful and or where to find the areas of improvement.
