Have you used an online ordering app as described in the article, Mobile-Ordering Apps Create Problems for Restaurants? For what service? Did it work the way you thought it would? Would you use it again? What should be done to improve the service?

Online ordering apps are a great gifts for people who do not have time to go out and can get their food delivered to their doorstep. We can sit at home and order whatever we want from the restaurants and the food is delivered to us and it is even hot in most of the cases. Bit this reduces the customers at restaurants and also the discounts and offers being given by these apps makes people prefer them than going to the restaurant and paying more. Hence these apps are a problem for the restaurants. It works in a good way but there are some cons for this like the food might get cold and sometime we can not assure the quality of the food delivered. We must use these apps only when we are busy to go out and dine because when we go to the restaurant we can atleast have food hot and question the quality if we find any fault. This cannot be improved in online apps but a feed back can be taken and the quality can be maintained by checking the restaurants the app ties up with so that customer satisfaction could be ensured. But the delay in deliveries and food getting cold cannot be completely solved as many problems arise for the delivery person to deliver the food .
