Paula and Elyse were twin sisters and they were separated immediately after their birth. They were separated for a scientific study to find out the difference between nature vs. nurture. It was to consider the matter whether there was any change in the twins in separate atmosphere where they were nurtured in separate ways.

It was ethically wrong. It can never be morally supported. It is not right for the children to separate from her mother and sister. The two children were deprived of their parental care. It is alao ethically wrong to keep them in dark that they were twins. The truth of their life was kept in secret. Even those who adopted the children did not know the fact. They were deprived of close relationship.

However, the two sisters reacted differently for their seperation. For an examination the researcher should not take any unfair means. But here unfair means have been taken. It is unethical and opposes human rights as well as the rights of the children.
