Cu(NO3)2(aq) + Na2S(aq) -------------> CuS(s) + 2NaNO3(aq)

first write complete ionic equation

Cu+2(aq) + 2NO3-(aq) + 2Na+(aq) + S-2(aq) ------------>  CuS(s) +     2Na+(aq) +  2NO3-(aq)

now cancel spectator ions. we will get net-ionic equation

Cu+2(aq) +   S-2(aq) ------------>  CuS(s) net -ionic equation.
