How can I print all the different types of characters used in a text file by writing a shell script?

Let us assume you have a text file named file_to_be_read.txt, Write some characters or text inside that file and make another file called validate.sh and write below code inside validate.sh.

validate.sh
1. value variable will be assigned with all the characters inside the text file.
2. We have some conditions to get the different type of characters used like numbers or alphabets.
3. In the similar way you can check for special characters using the below regular expression.

#!/bin/bash
value=$(<file_to_be_read.txt)
echo "$value"

if [[ $value == *['!'@#\$%^\&*()_+]* ]]
then
  echo "It contains special characters"
fi

if [[ $value =~ [0-9] ]];then
      echo "Numbers"
   else
      echo "Characters"
fi
