Theoretically efficiency must be 100%

But due to transmission and distribution losses efficiency never be 100%

Average losses of grid is 10-12% across world

but its vary from country to country(Losses)

it value is 70% in Lybiya and Togo falls to 20% in India and 2 % in Israel

in developed countrie losses are low due to good quality of transmission line and good compensation technique ..

countries like Australia have 5% loss thats means its efficiency is 95%

USA have 6 % loss thats means efficiency of 94%

UK have 8 % losses thats means efficiency of 92%

UAE have 93% efficiency

Sweden95% efficiency

Switzerland have 93% efficiency
