Many people regard transportation as little more than a means to an end. In fact, transport networks are the pulse of a city, defining livability and urban space.

Transportation is very important part of everyone life. But everything cannot be perfect, if there is pros and there is cons also. By the rapid growth of the world, the transportation is also growing day by day which is affecting the public in a negative manner. The impact of transportation on public are as follows:-

  1. Noise pollution: Transportation creates noise pollution which is not good for the public as well as the animals. Vehicle are considered to be the main source of noise pollution in the cities. The noise pollution affect the sleeping pattern of the human being.
  2. Air pollution: One of the most important impact is the increasing air pollution. All the living beings are affected by the air pollution. Each and every mode of transport is increasing the amount of smoke in the air which result in air pollution. The smoke which is emitted from the vehicle is the main cause of air pollution. People are suffering from so many dangerous diseases because of the air pollution
  3. Obesity: Transportation have made life of people so easy that it have result in increasing obesity among the people. People are depended on the transportation. People have became so lazy in their life. Hardly 20% of the total pollution use no transport mode in going to their workplace.
  4. Accidents: Every day we hear the news of someone getting died because of the road accidents. It is very important to wear all the safety gears while driving. No mode of transportation is totally safe the risk is constant in every mode. So we cannot avoid the transportation but there is a need of taking proper safety while travelling.
  5. Traffic: Now a days, each and every person owe at least 1 vehicle. There is a huge problem of traffic in cities. People get late in their work because they are struck in the traffic. traffic is the main issue of all the major cities and affecting the life and routine of people.

These all impacts will increase day by day as the world is growing and the population is increasing. It is very important to take proper steps and managing the transportation by minimizing the negative impacts.
