2) Functions with arrays
• Write a function that returns a count of how many temperatures are below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit). The function takes two parameters:
i) temps, an array of temperatures (in Fahrenheit degrees)
ii) numTemps, the number of temperatures
• Write a main() that initializes an array of temperatures (hard-coding the values is fine) and prints the number of temperatures below freezing. Your main() must call the above function to compute this result for output.
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int countFreezing(int temps[], int numTemps){
int count = 0;
for(int i = 0;i<numTemps;i++){
if(temps[i]<32){
count++;
}
}
return count;
}
int main()
{
int temps[] = {34,56,21,87,31,76,28,65};
int numTemps = 8;
cout<<countFreezing(temps,numTemps);
return 0;
}

In C Write a couple of functions to process arrays. Note that from the description of the function you have to identify what would be the return type and what would be part of the parameter. display(): The function takes an int array and it’s size and prints the data in the array. sumArray(): It takes an int array and size, and returns the sum of the elements of the array. findMax(): It takes an int array and size, and...
Write a C++ program that contains the following functions. Have at least 3 arrays created in the main to test your functions using appropriate function calls ReadIn (A Function that request the user to fill up 2 arrays of size 10) CompareFunc (A function that takes in 2 arrays and compares them, and outputs an appropriate message if they are the same or not) ReverseFunc ( A function that takes in 2 arrays, and copies the content of the the...

In this lab, you will write a program with three recursive functions you will call in your main. For the purposes of this lab, keep all functions in a single source file: main.c Here are the three functions you will write. For each function, the output example is for this array: int array[ ] = { 35, 25, 20, 15, 10 }; • Function 1: This function is named printReverse(). It takes in an array of integers...
Write a function named numPerfect that takes as parameters: an array of integer scores between zero and 100 (inclusive) the size of the array and returns the number of perfect scores in the array. Also write a main function that creates and initializes an array of ints (in the appropriate range), calls the function with that array, and prints out the return value.
1. All functions should be written AFTER the main procedure. 2. A function prototype should be written for each function and placed BEFORE the main procedure. 3. Each function should have a comment explaining what it does. 4. Each function parameter should have a comment explaining the parameter. 5. Prompt for the number of elements of the list. 6. Allocate an array whose size equals the number of elements specified by the user. 7. Read into the array the elements...
Write a C function named add with the following parameters: three float arrays a, b and c, each of the three arrays is a two dimensional array. The function should add the first two arrays a and b (entry by entry), storing the results in the third array c. In the main function, call the add function with appropriate values. The main function should print the sum of the two arrays stored in the third array. Sample run: float al...
Code written in NASM Function called findLargest Write a function called findLargest that receives two parameters: an unsigned doubleword array and the length of the array. The function must return the value of the largest array member in eax. Preserve all registers (except eax) that are modified by the function. Write a test program in main that calls findLargest three times, each call using a different array with different lengths. Function called countHits Write a function called named countHits that...

1. Write a function named findTarget that takes three parameters - numbers: an array of integers size: an integer representing the size of array target: a number The function returns true if the target is inside the array and false otherwise 2. Write a function min Valve that takes two parameters: myArray an array of doubles - size: an integer representing the size of array The function returns the smallest value in the array 3 Wrile a funcion...
c++ Write a function has Match that takes 3 parameters: 2 arrays of strings and an int that represents the length of each array The function returns true if at any position, the two arrays have the same string, false if not. For example: {"a", "b", "cat", "d"} and {"1", "2", "cat", "4"} would match
write C code that uses pointers, arrays, and C strings. 3. Write a function called pow_xy. The function should be passed 2 parameters, as illustrated in the prototype below. int pow_xy(int *xptr, int y); Assuming that xptr contains the address of variable x, pow_xy should compute x to the y power, and store the result as the new value of x. The function should also return the result. Do not use the built-in C function pow. For the remaining problems,...
