A) RbHSO4 + H2O = RbOH + H2SO4

Ionic equation:

Rb+ + HSO4- + H2O = Rb+ + OH- + H+ + HSO4-

Net ionic equation:

H2O = H+ + OH-

B) pH = - log [H+]

[H+] = 0.106 M

Thus,

pH = - log 0.106 = 0.97

Hence,

pH = 0.97
