Calculate the magnitude of the final value of the horizontal component of velocity in m/s just prior to the projectile striking the ground. [Note: Don't forget to convert units as needed.]

Initial speed , u= 21.2 miles/hr at 30 deg

Convert miles/hr to m/s

1 miles/hr =0.44704 m/s

u =9.45 m/s at 30 deg

initial horizontal velocity component ,

There is no acceleration in horizontal direction, so horizontal velocity remains constant

Final value of horizontal velocity =Initial value of horizontal velocity
