Yes, Cold War is still alive in East Asia today. Although the Cold War ended by 1991, still there is power tension between US and China, which may lead to another Cold War. Power tension will remain between developed countries but not every power tension will be the cause of the World war. Some of the today' s situation between China and US remind us about the Cold War and we anticipate that there may be another cold War between the two countries. China's strong military power,territorial claims and charges against US raises conflicts between the two countries. Regarding the business trade between the two countries, the way China is doing business is not legal and acceptable by US, China is stealing intellectual property, using pirated software, currency manipulation and involved in many other illegal activities. In spite of that they are doing successful business. Both America and China are powerful countries in terms of military and economic power, both can intrude into each others territory. But the question is whether they want another cold war? whether they want to see citizens of their country battling for lives? If not they should maintain a healthy relationship by being honest an loyal to each other.
