Answer #1

Reinforcement in psychology means adding or deleting a stimulus that strengthens the behavior. These are positive reinforcement or negative reinforcement.

The schedule of reinforcement is the set of rule, for example, reinforcement is given after two correct answers the reinforcement can be a verbal appreciation, or adding an object or removing an object to strengthen the behavior.

FR= The Fixed Ratio schedule applying the reinforcement after completion of a specific number of desired behavior is obtained.

VR=Variable ratio schedule is defined as applying reinforcement after a variable number of responses, which means reinforcement would not be applied after a specific number of desirable behavior it will vary like first it is two, then three and then five.

FI=Fixed interval schedule means applying the enforcer after a specified time interval for example reinforcer would be applied every time after a fixed time schedule like getting a reward after passing every exam.

VI=Variable interval schedule is one where the behavior is rewarded after an unpredictable amount of time has passed.
