Ans. In Microeconomic terms , healthcare market is a market where interaction of those who demand medical care services and those who supply medical care services takes place. Those who demand medical care services includes Consumers who want better health capital and those who supply are : Hospitals , Clinics , Nursing Homes etc. The primary goal of risk sharing in medical care markets is to increase the demand of medical care services ie medical care services can become affordable to majority and more and more people can avail the medical care services without worrying much about the high risks. Risk sharing is usually involved in medical insurances.
