If the total number of electron groups around the atom are 2 then it's hybridization is sp. Bond angle is 180°

If the total number of electron groups around the atom are 3 then it's hybridization is sp2. Bond angle is 120°

If the total number of electron groups around the atom are 4 then it's hybridization is sp3. Bond angle is 109°
