Hello!
I have a question that i can´t answer.
A gas has an initial pressure of 100 kPa. It is heated to double the temperature and thereby doubles in volume. What is the final pressure?
The answer should be 100kPa, but how?
Thanks

To whom it may concern, Hello, I need help with this question: Question: Two moles of He (Helium) gas are at 24 degrees C and a pressure of 210 kPa. If the gas is heated to 46 degrees C and its pressure reduced to 21 % of its initial value, what is the new volume? Which formula should I use? Let me know when you can. Thank you!
A system of ideal gas has an initial pressure of 114 kPa and occupies a volume of 6.00 liters. Doubling the system’s absolute temperature by means of a constant-pressure process would require an amount of work W. Instead, you decide to double the absolute temperature by carrying out two processes in sequence, a constant-pressure process followed by a constant-volume process. In this case, the total work done in the two-process sequence is W/2. Calculate the final pressure of the system....
An ideal gas has initial volume of 0.380 m3 and pressure of 9.80 ✕ 104 Pa. (a) If the initial temperature is 284 K, find the number of moles of gas in the system. (b) If the gas is heated at constant volume to 387 K, what is the final pressure?
The initial temperature of three moles of oxygen gas is 28.0°C, and its pressure is 6.70 atm. (a) What will its final temperature be when heated at constant volume so the pressure is five times its initial value? (b) Now the volume of the gas is also allowed to change. Determine the final temperature if the gas is heated until the pressure and the volume are tripled.
Question 6 of 22 > Consider an ideal gas with an absolute temperature of T. To what temperature would the gas need to be heated to double its pressure? Express the answer in terms of T. T₂= Consider an ideal gas with a volume of V. To what volume would the gas need to be compressed to double its pressure? Express the answer in terms of Vi. V =

A system of diatomic ideal gas is in an initial state such that the pressure is 69.0 kPa and the volume occupied by the gas is 6.00 L. The system then experiences a compression at constant temperature that raises the pressure to 165 kPa. (a) Calculate the final volume occupied by the gas. __L (b) Calculate the work done by the gas in this process. (Include the sign of the value in your answer.) __J Please show all work!
Five moles of monatomic ideal gas have initial pressure 2.50 × 103 Pa and initial volume 2.10 m3. While undergoing an adiabatic expansion, the gas does 1530 J of work. Part A What is the final pressure of the gas after the expansion? Units: kPa Units: kPa
If a sample of gas has an initial pressure of 2.24 atm and an initial volume of 5.67 L, what is the final volume if the pressure is reduced to 1.22 atm? Assume that the amount and the temperature of the gas remain constant.
